Dr. William B. Bynum, Jr., the President of Mississippi Valley State University (pictured third from left) , was introduced on the floor of the Mississippi State Senate on Tuesday, February 04, 2014 as part of MVSU’s celebration of “Green and White Day” at the Capitol. He was accompanied by his wife, Deborah Bynum (pictured at center), and by Dr. Jerryl Briggs, MVSU’s Executive Vice President (pictured at far left). The Valley State delegation was greeted in the chamber by Senators Kelvin Butler (pictured second from left), David Jordan (pictured third from right), Derrick Simmons (pictured second from right), and Robert Jackson (pictured at far right).
