Dr. Valmadge Towner, (3rd row, 3rd up on right), President of Coahoma Community College, along with alumni, staff and supporters of historic Coahoma Agricultural High School, visited the Capitol on Thursday, February 25, 2016, and spoke with lawmakers on both sides of the aisle, seeking to rally the support needed to keep the agricultural high school open. A senate bill that has yet to come up for a floor vote, seeks to shut down the facility.
